Vern brings over 37 years of Information Technology experience which includes 32 years of Government service.  Vern recently retired from the State of Michigan where he served as the Technical Services Director.  Vern’s leadership brought together diverse groups of highly technical people and created an environment that fostered creativity.  During this time, he led the design and implementation of a state-of-the-art co-location data center that utilized advanced virtualization technologies, creating the State’s private cloud.

Vern earned a bachelor's degree from Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant with Majors in Management Information Systems and General Business Management.  Today, Vern serves as an independent contractor and continues to innovate and advise other organizations to embrace organizational transformation.
